Cozy & Conveniently Located-Close to Downtown/Mtns

Good Location, Fair Conditions Positive: The house is in a great location; we could go anywhere we needed in a relatively short time. We had a lot of fun playing with the darts board. The beds were comfortable, and the location was quiet. Negative: This house underwhelmed us; it did not meet our expectations. The house felt a little rundown as cabinet panels were missing, the dishes were mismatched, the bathroom felt dated (the door barely shuts), and there was a fragrance smell that was overwhelming when we first checked in. In addition, the refrigerator was leaking, and we had to put a towel on the floor to soak it up. It also needed a new water filter. That being said, this was not a bad stay for what it was IF it was less expensive. We felt disappointed because when we booked it based on the listing pictures, we thought that it was going to be a higher-quality experience. I think that this property could do with some upgrades.

The pictures in the listing are not up to what is actually in the home. There is a lot of damaged furniture, electrical outlets not safely secure to the wall, burnt countertops from the stove, and much more. Upon us reaching out to VRBO, we sent pictures to show the concerns, they reached out to the host, and we waited to hear what would happen with our request to leave early and be refunded our money. The host was gracious and he refunded the two nights we didn't stay there. We said we would pay for the first night. I honestly feel this place should be removed from rental sites until all updates and improvements can be made.

Managers were highly communicative and apartment was nice to stay,clean and well equipped. But ,must say that there is a gap between description and pictures to reality. It fits 2 4 without much privacy and it was old and full of wear.

just okay - a little high priced Positive: washer dryer was a big plus. easy to get into the place. Negative: 1/2 bath was a bit inconvenient from the bedrooms. The bed pillows are really not comfortable. Huge thick hard foam pillows are not for everyone. A variety of different types of pillows would be nice. Shower is a bit hard to access with the counter in the way.

We stayed here while my daughter attended a summer sports camp at the University of Utah. Host was very friendly with all exchanges over VRBO messages. PROS Friendly, quiet neighborhood in the heart of the Millcreek area. Easy access to University of Utah. Kitchen had most necessary items for making breakfasts. Check-out procedures were simple and minimal. CONS Pictures of house must have been taken sometime ago as house is showing its age and rental history. House is a lot smaller than it seems in pictures. The patio was a highlight for me when booking, but tall dry weeds had not been mowed down yet and it made me leery to even start the fire pit. Patio furniture is showing its age and suffering from sun rot. Back door only latches with deadbolt. Front door looks like it had a forced entry at one time. Floor is uneven in hallway and was tripped over several times during our stay. Overall, it was quiet every night so we were well rested each day. The house is just needing some TLC.
